Homework is assigned 4-5 nights per week in most subjects. Studying at home is essential to achieving success. Students are to record all assignments in their agenda during each class. Homework will be checked and graded by teachers. If students are absent, it is their responsibility to obtain assignments. The Homework Hotline (410-727-5639) may be used for this purpose. We encourage parents to check the Homework Hotline regularly. Students in the state of Maryland are also required to read at least 25 books per year. Please keep track of progress to ensure that you meet this goal. Appropriate reading lists have been given to students. Please see Language Arts teachers or the grade level administrator to obtain another list or additional suggestions for appropriate reading material.
