We are a part of the Baltimore City Public School System. We are a special education program designed to service students with emotional disabilities. We are a middle school program for sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. We accept only 27 students per year. Once all seats are filled, a waiting list is established. It is not uncommon for a seat to open up and a student from the waiting list to be admitted to the center at different times during the school year. Mission
We strive to facilitate learning, build self esteem, and promote successful academic and social experiences in the least restrictive environment. We work with parents, students, community and administrators to provide a positive, supportive and safe environment where growth and learning can be fun. Our Team
Our team is made up of academic and mental health professionals, parents and students. We are convinced that parents know and understand their children better than anyone else. This is why parents are important members of our team. We regard their input and participation as critical to their child's success.
